Superior red wine

A jelly specialty made from Egri Bikavér wine. The jelly wine, also containing dried fruits, works well with unique game dishes, camembert and brie cheeses, roast beef or for their marinade.

Today, the Egri Bikavér is typically a blend of different percentages of Hungarian varietals: Kékfrankos, Portugieser, Kadarka, and international varietals: Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and more recently Pinot Noir and Syrah.

Both ageing and fresh fruit aromas characterize the wine, and its complexity is understood by the fact that the character of a varietal cannot be the dominant characteristic of the wine.

A quality wine of protected designation of origin, its production is regulated and controlled, and the appellation may not be used by producers outside the Eger wine region.

Alcohol by volume is below 1%.

Recommended temperature for consumption is between +8 and +12 degrees. Refrigerate after opening.
